The Climate Academy, aspires to sharpen up and deepen public awareness about the current climate crisis. We do this through organizing events and projects, through articles and media.
We advocate for a shift in focus from small individual citizen actions towards systemic change and legislative action.
We demand laws rooted in science and simple principles of justice (Cut11%).
"The Writing's on the Wall" is an art protest started by the Climate Academy. The first climate mural is located in the European School of Brussels II, in Belgium.
On the mural you can see the faces of people who are going to be most affected by global heating (mainly the young and the poor) and above there is the statement “Save Our Future Cut 11% of Emissions Now.”
The main message of the mural is that young people have the right to know the truth about their future and the climate crisis.
